About the Role

This is a high-impact position, ideal for a proactive and strategic QHSEW professional thriving in a global, multi-site facilities management environment with a strong focus on compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

As part of the H&S Consultancy Team, you will support the contract by providing advice on statutory compliance, ensuring contractors work safely, and applying Macro Group’s safety standards across the EMEA Project in 21 countries.

You will provide legislative insight, project and operational support through ownership, management, monitoring, analysis, development, and management of statutory inspections within the Client H&S Consultancy contract across 21 countries in the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Assist with planning and operations to ensure Macro supply chain complies with statutory inspections.
  • Review RAMS, Prevention Plans, JHAs, DVRIs, RI&E, and all contractor Risk Assessments to control H&S risks and prevent incidents.
  • Coordinate with local clients and contractors for technical equipment inspections, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Plan tasks using the client’s CAFM system (Service Channel) and ensure job cards are issued.
  • Ensure statutory inspection regimes meet compliance standards and legal requirements.
  • Engage with the project Admin and Macro FM Ops Team to allocate reactive works.
  • Manage performance regimes with vendor partners.
  • Support communication with Engineering Compliance Manager and escalate issues as needed.
  • Develop partnerships with subcontractors to ensure effective output management.
  • Monitor and report on vendor/sub-contractor performance, and implement improvement actions.
  • Maintain facilities management SOPs aligned with QHSEW standards and ISO requirements.
  • Provide regulatory advice and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental procedures.
  • Collaborate on policy updates, supplier prequalification, and onboarding.
  • Implement Macro Group QHSEW policies at local sites.
  • Ensure safe systems of work are in place for high-risk activities, including Permit-to-Work.
  • Conduct internal audits and compliance assessments.
  • Act as the primary contact for QHSEW matters, supporting safety initiatives.
  • Promote safety culture through training and awareness programs.
  • Monitor QHSEW performance metrics, prepare reports, and recommend improvements.
  • Lead incident investigations, document lessons learned, and track corrective actions.

  • Understanding of HSE regulations across EMEA countries.
  • Proficiency in English; additional European languages (Italian or Spanish) are a plus.
  • Membership in a local H&S institution and relevant qualifications (NEBOSH, ISO auditor, etc.).
