We are seeking a junior logistics operator within the Operations department who, initially supporting and later autonomously, will manage, support, and coordinate activities with clients and other departments involved in the transportation and shipping processes of various goods.

Activities:

• Continuous collaboration and contact with client companies (both inbound and outbound)
• Managing the acceptance, transit, and departure procedures of goods from the warehouse
• Monitoring order preparation
• Supporting warehouse activities and controls
• Managing transportation documents
• Dispatching and controlling orders across UPS SCS branches in Italy
• Checking documentation for incoming and outgoing goods
• Providing administrative support for operational activities across different warehouse areas

Requirements:

• Knowledge of key logistics topics related to distribution

• Ability to interface and communicate effectively with other departments during routine activities
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel

After an initial training and mentoring period, a one-week on-call period per month (including holidays) will be scheduled for urgent shipments

One day of smart working per week is planned

This position involves general office duties related to the supported group, such as data handling, planning, package processing, shipping, auditing, inventory, customer support, and operations support. Other tasks may be assigned as needed.
