ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Lead Product Designer to lead the design efforts across our Metrics domain, which includes our benchmarking app, Insights, and our media monitoring app, Discover, as well as a number of backend tools. As we evolve these into a unified product experience, you will be responsible for shaping and driving the design vision, aligning squads, and elevating design practice across the domain.
You’ll also manage and mentor at least one designer, helping them grow while maintaining quality and cohesion across squads.
You’ll serve as the lead for the Launchmetrics Design System, working closely with engineers and designers across the organization to scale consistent, high-quality design.
This is a high-impact, hybrid role for a senior Individual Contributor ready to combine deep product ownership, team support, and systems leadership.
Responsibilities include:

  1. Own the design vision and execution for the Metrics domain, spanning multiple squads including robust internal data ops tools
  2. Design interfaces that help users explore, interpret, and act on complex data—balancing flexibility, clarity, and performance.
  3. Design interfaces that deliver AI-enriched data in a way that has transparency and builds trust with the user
  4. Lead discovery, design, testing, and delivery of elegant, user-centered experiences
  5. Work closely with PMs, engineers, data, and business stakeholders to align on strategy and execution
  6. Maintain alignment across squads and ensure quality in both short-term delivery and long-term direction
  7. Manage designers within the metrics domain, supporting growth & quality.
  8. Contribute to the evolution of rituals and critiques within the Design Chapter, helping build a shared culture of feedback and quality
  9. Actively help improve processes, documentation standards, and team practices that scale across product areas
  10. Own and evolve the Launchmetrics Design System in collaboration with tech and design partners
  11. Define scalable patterns, build adoption practices, and maintain high standards of usability and visual design
  12. Advocate for and measure success via product usage data, usability feedback, and business outcomes
  13. Deliver clean, well-documented Figma files and collaborate closely during implementation
  14. Present design direction and thinking to stakeholders across departments

ABOUT YOU

  • You have 6+ years of experience in Product Design, ideally in a B2B or SaaS environment.
  • Experience driving product design across all stages—from research and strategy to execution and delivery.
  • Experience maintaining & evolving a design system.
  • You have strong data literacy and understand the challenges of designing products where data is central to the user experience.
  • You’re relentlessly detail-oriented—not just in UI polish, but in how users move through flows and how every state supports clarity and confidence.
  • Proven ability to mentor and support other designers.
  • You bring a strong point of view on design and usability while remaining open to feedback and other perspectives.
  • Strong fluency in UX, UI, and systems thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills—you synthesize, align, and influence across disciplines.
  • Confident navigating ambiguity, leading discovery, and structuring solutions
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable managing shifting priorities while maintaining design quality.
  • Proficient in Figma, including component libraries and handoff workflows.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Extra Credit:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
  • You have experience with data visualization design—and understand how to balance clarity, flexibility, and insights in user interfaces.
  • You have experience working in the Fashion, Lifestyle, or Beauty (FLB) industry.
  • You have skills in motion design or illustration and can add that extra touch of magic to your designs.

We value diverse perspectives and recognize that skills and experiences can be gained in various ways. If you're excited about this opportunity but don't meet every single requirement listed, we would love to hear from you and encourage you to submit an application!
