Job Opportunity: National Sales Head – Pharmacy, Mass & Wholesale Channels

Location: Monza-Brianza, Italy

Company: Chaberton Professionals, division of Chaberton Partners, specializes in recruiting Middle Management profiles. We are currently seeking a National Sales Head – Pharmacy, Mass & Wholesale Channels for a client leader in the Consumer Health sector.

Role Overview: This role involves managing commercial relationships, developing clients across Italy, and overseeing distribution channels including Grossisti, Cooperative, Pharmacies, and Parapharmacies, as well as the Mass Market.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage development plans for channel-specific clients, planning and executing key projects for long-term growth in indirect sales across Modern and Traditional channels.
  2. Define and develop the annual sales plan.
  3. Collaborate on the development of commercial policies by analyzing client needs and business opportunities.
  4. Implement suitable trade marketing tools aligned with individual client projects.
  5. Promote the company's image, values, and initiatives among top national clients, adhering to established commercial policies, promotional plans, visibility activities, and category management at points of sale.
  6. Negotiate with Top Clients, either directly or via National Key Accounts, regarding revenue targets, promotional plans, product visibility, and category management.
  7. Estimate monthly sales volumes for the relevant channel and activate commercial levers to achieve targets.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree in Economics or Scientific disciplines.
  • At least 7 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in retail sales.
  • Deep understanding of retail channel dynamics (Top Clients) and fundamentals of Sales Management and Marketing, including sector regulations.
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Proven coaching and training skills, with the ability to manage teams of collaborators.
