The Technician - Associate Engineer - Research and Development will be located out of the JMA offices in Bologna, Italy in the Castel San Pietro Terme area.

Responsibilities:

1. Create and design models from scratch using advanced 3D CAD tools (Solidworks).
2. Maintain version-controlled documentation to facilitate collaboration and knowledge transfer.
3. Collaborate in a cross-functional team environment.
4. Communicate regularly to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders via verbal and written communication.
5. Refine plastic/metal assemblies, create part numbers and extracting BOMS data and specifications for both Operation and Purchasing Teams.
6. Support other teams for standard related testing (both in-house and external labs).

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience that includes SolidWorks.
2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize firmware solutions.
3. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
5. Ability to travel, periodically, domestic and international to support client meetings.
6. English language is an asset.
