A leading company in the culinary sector seeks an experienced Baker to manage daily operations in their Bakery Shop. The ideal candidate will ensure quality production and compliance with health regulations while assisting in various baking tasks. Ensure the smooth and efficient operation and control of the Bakery Shop and daily production according to company policies.
Responsible for the production, quality, and presentation of the bread assortment used in daily menus.
Assist the Head Baker in preparing production forecasts and recording leftovers to minimize waste and maintain food costs within budget.
Assist in setting up bread displays in various buffets.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of United States Public Health rules and regulations, ensuring daily compliance.
Oversee the cleaning of the bakery shop according to the Executive Chef’s schedule, using proper methods to prevent equipment damage.
Ensure the bakery is prepared for any announced or unannounced USPH inspections, whether by ship management or USPH inspectors.
Handle requisition and transportation of necessary items from main stores to the bakery when assigned.
Follow recipes and yields in accordance with company standards.
Assist the CDP Baker with completing the daily consumption recap as required by the Executive Chef.
Acquire and maintain knowledge to comply with ship’s standard operations and assist guests and crew with inquiries.
Attend meetings, training activities, courses, and other work-related activities as required.
