Midea Group, a Fortune 500 company and the world’s leading air treatment brand by production volume, is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our Industrial Technologies Europe team. The role can be remote or based in our Pordenone, Italy office.

Responsibilities include:

  • Stay updated on product launches and transitions to support sales programs.
  • Develop new business opportunities with Light Commercial Refrigerator and Freezer Agents, OBMs, and OEMs.
  • Engage with various customer organization departments including engineering, sourcing, operations, and quality.
  • Provide technical presentations, product updates, and training to customers.
  • Document market and customer insights and relay information to the organization.
  • Support marketing activities, monitor market trends, and gather customer feedback.
  • Assist team members in achieving KPIs.
  • Participate in trade shows and promotional activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
  • 5-10 years experience in Sales, Marketing, or R&D.
  • Knowledge of Light Commercial reciprocating compressor products and applications.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and at least one European language.
  • Motivated, self-sufficient, capable of managing multiple projects.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams.
  • Experience with major Light Commercial Agents, OBMs, and OEMs is advantageous.
  • Chinese language skills are a plus but not required.
