Your role as a Cloud Data Architect in NTT Data Gov & Tech will involve supporting customers in Big Data projects by collaborating with business analysts and solution architects to understand use cases, data needs, and outcome objectives. You will be responsible for delivering data acquisition, transformation, cleansing, conversion, compression, and loading of data into data lakes to facilitate analytics and machine learning models.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and implement data solutions in cloud-native environments.
2. Innovate and share solutions for daily challenges within the team.
3. Bridge Data Science and Data Engineering, understanding both fields.
4. Prepare data for Data Science and Data Engineering projects.

Required Skills

• Experience with cloud-native environments on at least one major public cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure); 2+ years on Azure preferred.
• Knowledge of Big Data architectures, both cloud and on-premise.
• Azure infrastructure and networking experience.
• Proven ability to build and deliver proofs-of-concept addressing specific business needs.
• Experience migrating workloads from on-premise to cloud.
• Monitoring distributed infrastructure using Azure tools or open-source tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
• Programming experience in Java, Scala, Python, and shell scripting.
• SQL proficiency.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies such as Kanban.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and other ETL/ELT tools.
• Cloud certification such as Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent in AWS, Oracle, or GCP.

Desired Skills and Certifications

• Additional Big Data certifications (Cloudera, Databricks, etc.).
• Experience with non-Azure ETL/ELT solutions (Talend, Oracle Data Integrator, Informatica PowerCenter, etc.).
• Experience with Data Visualization tools (PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, etc.).
