What you will do:

This is an exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join Johnson Control Security Division. You will work with our industry-leading portfolio of security products, targeting key customers and opening new vertical markets. You will serve as the primary contact for existing clients and potential new customers.

How you will do it:

  • Prospect new customers in Italy and contribute to regional growth.
  • Manage your prospecting activities and schedule independently, reporting via Salesforce.
  • Present and demonstrate our intrusion solutions to prospects, highlighting advantages.
  • Participate in industry events and organize product training sessions remotely or on-site.
  • Keep customers informed about new solutions and products.
  • Understand customer businesses and requirements clearly.
  • Collaborate closely with Regional Sales Manager to develop sales strategies and tools.
  • Maintain initiative, team spirit, and explore new business channels.
  • Work effectively with other departments and support business development and retention efforts.

What we look for:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar sales role, preferably in security or technology markets.
  • Proven success in selling technical products within the security sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of the electronic security market and smart home technologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Microsoft Teams or similar tools for webinars and remote reports.
  • Good command of English (spoken and written).
  • Residence in Northern Italy preferred.
  • Experience in B2B sales and using social media for sales activities.
  • Experience in international work environments.
  • Educational qualification: Graduate degree or equivalent.

Workplace:

Based in Northern Italy, with up to 75% travel. Home office environment.
