About the role

Are you our new Cash and Carry Account Manager for North Italy? Do you have the talent, drive, and capabilities to develop our Spirits brands in the FMCG environment? We are looking for someone to lead our spirit brands in North Italy, working under the Regional Manager to develop our presence in C&C customers.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Crafting customer propositions to unlock growth and improve profit margins.
  2. Building a sell-out culture through customer plans, including promo calendars, assortment, innovations, and category management.
  3. Managing customer routines: orders, forecasts, stock, and payments.
  4. Visiting assigned C&C customers regularly based on established call frequency.
  5. Developing deep knowledge of customer structures, policies, and sales methods.
  6. Building collaborative relationships with customers and partners.
  7. Negotiating commercial agreements aligned with Diageo policies.
  8. Delivering Joint Business Plans (JBPs) that create value for both Diageo and customers.
  9. Monitoring performance to ensure activities meet targets and implementing corrective actions when needed.

Key outcomes:

  • Market share growth
  • NSV growth through customer management and strategic planning
  • Optimizing customer stock levels
  • Supporting credit management to ensure timely payments

About you

Requirements:

  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Experience in FMCG C&C and Modern Trade channels
  • Highly organized with planning abilities
  • Qualifications: HBO/Academic
  • Minimum 3-5 years in field sales, preferably in the beverage FMCG sector
  • Languages: Italian (native), English (good knowledge)
  • Preferred locations: Milano, Bologna, Verona, Vicenza, or Padova
