Job Description
Your Career

The Commercial Account Executive SMB is a key driver of company revenue and growth. As an experienced sales professional, you will lead and drive sales engagements, connecting customers with solutions at every stage of threat prevention.

You will meet and exceed quotas by developing strategic territory plans targeting deployments of the Palo Alto Networks Next Generation Security Platform. This role offers a unique opportunity for a proactive closer to win business and market share by displacing competing technologies.

Your Impact
  • Drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles, collaborating with internal teams to serve customers effectively.
  • Build long-term relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors using consultative selling skills.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans focused on SMB accounts.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to position Palo Alto Networks effectively.
  • Generate, develop, and expand your territory through a programmatic demand approach.
  • Create compelling value propositions tailored to specific accounts, leveraging industry news and trends.
  • Travel within your territory and to company-wide meetings as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Experience and knowledge of SaaS architectures, preferably in networking/security; awareness of SASE is a plus.
  • 5-7 years managing SMB accounts.
  • Proven ability to cultivate mutually beneficial relationships with channel partners.
  • Ability to lead all sales cycle aspects, including uncovering, qualifying, developing, and closing new opportunities.
  • Successful track record selling complex solutions.
  • Excellent time management, autonomy, and self-direction.
  • Highly competitive, adaptable, and goal-oriented.
  • Active security clearance.
