Job Description:

Communication & Product Manager is responsible for activating and implementing marketing activities.

The RCPM works closely with the Regional Marketing Director (RMD) to launch new product categories and manage existing ones, in alignment with central marketing directives. Additionally, the Communication & Product Manager prepares, guides, and oversees the execution of European promotions and campaigns, ensuring they are carried out consistently with the central strategies and plans.

Responsibilities
MAIN ACTIVITIES
All activities are pre-planned with the RMD, updating reports to:
  • Monitor progress and ensure alignment with plans
  • Implement corrective actions if needed
  • Inform the RMD of updates
Product Categories:

Oversees new product launches, acting as a link between local Trade Marketing Managers (TMMs) and central marketing.

Ensures strategic objectives, sales, and profit targets are met.

Plans and organizes product launches in Italy, coordinating with TMMs and central teams.

Optimizes product assortments, aligning them with international ranges while considering local needs.

Works with Central Marketing to develop product ranges, define pricing, and manage them for Italy while supervising regional markets.

Provides insights to European marketing teams on regional product and communication opportunities.

Conducts price positioning analysis across markets.

Supports the launch of new products (codes, logistics, etc.).

Consolidates product forecasts and develops them locally for Italy.

Assists in organizing customer events and optimizing retail points.

Promotions & Communication:

Implements international promotional and communication plans with TMM support and RMD supervision.

Localizes centrally developed communication for new products and marketing materials.

Requests tailored marketing materials for regional or local needs.

Implements the best promotional models to drive sell-out, ensuring execution and tracking results.

Maximizes ROI by planning costs and measuring incremental sales and profits.

Shares best practices with Central Marketing and other RCPMs.

Coordinates PR activities within the region.

Qualifications:

- University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.

- Fluent in English (written and spoken); knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, reporting, pivot tables, and formulas).

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent project management and organizational abilities.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The RCPM will also:

  • Support the TMM (Italy) in the creation of catalog pages.
  • Assist the TMM (Italy) in the development of price lists.
  • Actively participate in defining marketing plans alongside the RMD.
