Description

As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Area Manager, you will be instrumental in fostering a supportive and efficient work environment. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and mentor a team of expert technicians focused on equipment reliability.

Key job responsibilities

1. Support colleagues in ensuring site compliance with safety policies and procedures.
2. Implement EU network standards, plan preventative maintenance, and ensure technical availability.
3. Collaborate with colleagues to collect and analyze data to enhance processes.
4. Lead and support both site-based and network-level projects.
5. Lead, support, and mentor your team to develop their careers.

A day in the life

You will be based at one of our operational sites, providing practical guidance to your team and gaining a clear understanding of site operations. Your day will involve data collection, problem-solving in a fast-paced environment, and creating operational plans to improve productivity and efficiency. You will initiate new projects focused on operational processes and equipment maintenance. A key aspect of your role will be leading your team, managing their performance, and supporting their development through training opportunities.

Basic Qualifications

• Significant practical engineering experience, including supervisory roles managing people.
• Multiskilled in electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Experience with automated equipment such as packaging machinery, sortation, and conveyor systems.
• Proficiency in English and the local language at CEFR Level B2 or higher.
• Experience adhering to health & safety standards and regulations.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, CAD).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) or equivalent experience.
• Full knowledge of specialized engineering and facilities equipment within the Fulfillment Center, including maintenance and safety procedures.
• Experience working with PLC-based control systems.
• Project management experience.
• Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) programs.
• Experience with Kaizen and Continuous Improvement processes.
