Job Description

We are seeking a talented Project Manager for a full-time position to oversee a wide range of renewable projects, including revamping, repowering, and EPC of photovoltaic power plants.

The role involves support from our Milan (Italy) administrative office to staff at all organizational levels involved in this exciting and growing environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, track, and control project scope, program, budget, team organization, and activities related to revamping and repowering PV/Solar projects.
• Lead and coordinate project execution workstreams, including construction management, technical management, procurement, project controls, and HSE.
• Provide clear and concise status reports on project planning, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues.
• Manage contracts, claims, and change orders with a pragmatic problem-solving approach.
• Ensure compliance with operational project documentation and applicable laws, regulations, codes, and standards.
• Facilitate communication among project stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and subcontractors.
• Maintain high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects against agreed milestones.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent field. Knowledge of Italian electrical standards is a significant advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in photovoltaics.
• Proficiency in CAD for power plant design; knowledge of PVSyst is a plus.
• Understanding of PV systems, KPIs, engineering economics, equipment, and technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks with limited directives.
• Proactive and flexible, with an interest in innovative solutions.
• Project management experience is advantageous.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
