A leading company in the engineering sector is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Cinisello Balsamo. The role involves establishing customer relationships, performing installations and maintenance, and requires a technical diploma and willingness to travel extensively within Italy. Job Description:

Responsibilities / Tasks

• Establish and maintain adequate commercial relationships with customers.
• Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair on designated equipment.
• Perform the function of supervisor during the installation of lines or machinery when necessary.
• Carry out the activity of coordinator during the installation of lines or machinery when necessary.
• Maintenance and care of supplied tools, test equipment and ensuring that they are properly calibrated.
• Identify and participate in sales opportunities such as parts, new contracts, contract renewals and system sales.

Your Profile / Qualifications

• Secondary School Technical Diploma (Mechatronic specialization is preferable).
• Willingness to travel to Italy (abroad for 200 days / year from Monday to Friday), mainly within Italy but also some travel abroad.
• Willingness to work on Saturdays and Sundays as well (once a month, variably).
• Very good written and spoken English (minimum B2).
• Experience in technical documentation and knowledge of GEA product portfolio and served processes/applications is a plus.
