TheHRChapter is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition (Freelance, 100%) to join our team and spearhead our growth in international recruitment and executive search.

You will work remotely, collaborating with a diverse, dynamic team passionate about redefining how companies grow their teams across borders.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing and expanding client relationships aligned with their values, vision, and talent needs.
  • Leading end-to-end recruitment processes with high standards and efficiency.
  • Supporting team development through training, mentorship, and sharing best practices.
  • Acting as a strategic advisor to clients and representing TheHRChapter in industry forums.
  • Collaborating on employer branding and visibility strategies with our marketing team.
  • Innovating talent sourcing using automation, Boolean logic, and AI platforms.
  • Enhancing ATS/CRM systems, defining KPIs, and implementing agile recruitment frameworks.
  • Contributing to our commercial growth strategy alongside leadership.

Ideal candidate profile:

  • 5+ years in talent acquisition, executive search, or recruitment consultancy in managerial roles.
  • Experience in international or multicultural environments, preferably with startups and scaleups.
  • Ability to build and lead remote teams across regions.
  • Strong client management and persuasive communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish; additional languages like Dutch are a plus.
  • Proficiency with CRM/ATS systems (e.g., HubSpot, Greenhouse).
  • Knowledge of sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, AmazingHiring.
  • Interest or experience in employer branding and talent marketing.
  • Curious, strategic thinker with a human-centered recruitment approach.
  • Comfortable working remotely, autonomously, in high-performance environments.

Note: This role initially has no base salary; compensation is performance-based, including:

  • Client acquisition and placement commissions (30–40% of candidate's annual salary for direct placements, 5–10% for placements through your clients).
  • Potential equity or bonuses based on group performance.

Depending on client volume, the model may evolve into a base salary plus commissions.
