Job Description:

On behalf of a luxury company, we are looking for a Facilities & Maintenance Lead for Southern Europe.

The Facilities & Maintenance Lead in Southern Europe is responsible for managing the retail stores and headquarters facilities in the region. This role oversees daily maintenance and repairs, store upkeep, equipment maintenance strategies, and issue resolution across all stores in Southern Europe.

Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee and coordinate planned facility and maintenance activities.
  2. Coordinate remedial work for store emergencies and ensure vendor action plans.
  3. Conduct site visits and partner with Retail Excellence Managers for quarterly store condition audits.
  4. Serve as the primary contact for store and headquarter staff regarding facility and maintenance issues.
  5. Perform periodic site inspections to ensure standards and maintenance execution.
  6. Supervise contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to monitor work progress.
  7. Ensure health and safety compliance in coordination with RSPP/HSE.
  8. Manage procurement and material/service orders.
  9. Archive documentation per local regulations.
  10. Organize tendering processes to evaluate and select contractors.
  11. Collaborate on new store openings, including site surveys and project management.
  12. Assist in budget estimation and cost control for maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Engineering, Construction, Facility Management, or Building Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years in facilities management, preferably in retail with real estate services.
  • Luxury retail experience.
  • Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.
