A PR & Marketing Executive plays a vital role in supporting the Line Manager to achieve key objectives aligned with the annual marketing and PR plan, current initiatives, and relevant activities. The marketing and PR team is integral in uniting various functions to meet commercial targets. The role involves managing individual projects related to marketing, media relations, and internal communications, along with performing daily administrative duties.
What will I be doing?
As a PR & Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for the outcomes of the hotel’s marketing activities aimed at increasing brand awareness, communicating promotions to target markets, and addressing business needs. Your tasks will include:
- Coordinating and assisting with the delivery of marketing and PR strategies, monitoring campaign performance, and reporting as directed by the Line Manager.
- Supporting the development and implementation of promotional activities, collateral, and in-house merchandising; maintaining the media library.
- Promoting marketing activities through media channels covering food and beverage, rooms, and events.
- Supporting internal communication efforts, including press releases, newsletters, speeches, and management interviews.
- Supporting PR activities such as events, sponsorships, exhibitions, and property inspections.
- Managing media relations, including social media monitoring, press kit updates, news archive management, and media visit coordination.
- Organizing media familiarization trips and managing hotel photoshoots and filming.
- Monitoring social media activity and ensuring brand standards are maintained across all collateral.
- Supporting loyalty marketing initiatives and executing content strategies across digital platforms.
- Responding to customer posts and managing online reputation.
Managing Execution
- Supporting content management across hotel websites, OTAs, social media, and partnerships.
- Developing reports on marketing activities, highlighting results and next steps.
- Maintaining and growing hotel databases for targeted campaigns.
- Monitoring local news and informing management of potential impacts on hotel reputation.
- Assisting in the review of third-party website content for accuracy and standards.
- Conducting competitive analysis and ensuring marketing and PR archives are up-to-date.
- Supporting crisis communication and achieving performance goals set by the Line Manager.
Developing Talent
- This role emphasizes self-development rather than team development.
Building Relationships
- Establishing effective communication with hotel departments and external partners.
- Developing relationships with media, community organizations, government officials, and suppliers.
- Collaborating within the team and supporting hotel departments and regional teams.

- Previous experience in marketing and/or press relations, preferably in hospitality.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Educational background at college level or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of marketing and PR strategies and proficiency in MS Office and project management.
- Commercial awareness, decision-making skills, and a professional appearance.
- Positive attitude, customer focus, integrity, creativity, and teamwork orientation.
Preferred additional capabilities include experience in hospitality marketing/PR, multilingual skills, creative writing qualifications, and experience with media agencies.
