The role involves overseeing tax compliance, managing treasury functions, and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in accounting and tax, preferably within multinational settings, and be fluent in both Italian and English.

LHH is looking for an Accounting & Tax Manager for a global company.

Responsibilities

The candidate will be directly responsible for:

1. Leading the accounting team, driving engagement, and actively promoting innovation, digitalization, and process improvements.
2. Coordinating and supervising all accounting, tax, and related activities (e.g., general ledger, accounts payables, accounts receivables and collection, treasury, monthly closing and reporting, tax compliance), ensuring accuracy, quality, timeliness, and compliance with regulations and accounting principles.
3. Monitoring and reconciling all P&L, B/S, and transitory accounts regularly.
4. Managing Treasury and Banking functions according to legislative, regulatory, and Treasury standards.
5. Overseeing tax calculation, declaration, and payment in coordination with external advisors.
6. Managing Transfer Pricing policies in coordination with Group Tax and external advisors.
7. Preparing statutory financial statements with external advisors.
8. Managing corporate and accounting records, such as journal vouchers and VAT.
9. Maintaining relationships with external auditors, advisors, and key stakeholders.
10. Serving as a key leader within the finance department and main point of contact for accounting & tax matters.
11. Being a key user and contributor to the implementation of the new ERP system.

Your Profile

The company will consider applicants who meet the following requirements:

1. University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
2. Minimum 8-10 years of advanced experience in Accounting and Tax, preferably within multinational groups.
3. Experience in Audit and/or as a Team Leader is a plus.
4. Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
5. High integrity, reliability, autonomy, rigor, accuracy, and structured approach.
6. Strong knowledge of accounting and tax matters.
7. Proven resource management skills, both direct and indirect.
8. Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and challenge to the status quo.
9. Proactive with initiative and problem-solving skills.
10. Project management and organizational skills.
11. Good business understanding, customer focus, and responsiveness.
12. Ability to work independently and in teams, building relationships.
13. Proficiency in MS Office applications.
14. Knowledge of IDMS is a strong plus.

Indicative package: RAL €70,000/€75,000 + PDR.
