Job Description: Safety and Environmental Consultant
Adecco Consultant is selecting for an important company specialized in engineering consulting for environmental and workplace safety, a:
The candidate will be integrated into a dynamic environment and will be responsible for:
- Supporting internal staff responsible for managing workplace safety and environmental aspects, both in office work and in verifying the suitability of plants, workplaces, and the correct application of prevention and protection measures established by the company.
- Conducting sample checks and verifying health and safety conditions for assigned tasks (including compliance with COVID-19 anti-contagion measures), environmental management (e.g., waste, temporary deposits), and site security, including the application of the PSC (Safety and Coordination Plan) and POS (Operational Safety Plans) prepared by the executing companies.
- Preparing reports or technical reports following inspections, possibly supplemented by photographic evidence, to highlight identified deficiencies and provide assistance and suggestions for their elimination.
- Providing assistance and consultancy for managing health and safety at work and environmental management, supporting site personnel both in office work and in production verification, acting as a technical liaison between the Client/Work Supervisor, Safety Coordinator for the execution of works, the entrusted company, and the executing companies.
- Supporting and assisting personnel responsible (e.g., security, reception) in access control activities and monitoring the presence of contractor personnel within the site.
- Participating in coordination and production meetings organized and scheduled by the Safety Coordinator.
- Participating in emergency and evacuation drills organized by the Safety Coordinator, with the drafting of a specific report if required.
- Assisting and advising following inspections by ASL, ARPA, or other control bodies, either during or after the inspection.
- Providing consultancy on proper management of temporary waste deposits.
- Advising on correct procedures for recording waste load and unload registers.
- Offering guidance on proper completion and management of waste transport forms.
Requirements:
- Technical degree or high school diploma in health and safety or environmental disciplines.
- Experience in health and safety and environmental matters, possibly including roles as Esecutive Coordinator under D.Lgs 81/08 (Title IV, temporary and mobile construction sites).
- Direct contract with the company, with a fixed-term contract and potential for permanent employment.
- Salary commensurate with the candidate's experience.
- Initial duration: 12 months.
