We seek a Surface & Tribology Technology Expert to be part of our core technical team, the Technology Office, for new automotive initiatives. This highly technical role involves overcoming complex challenges to enhance automotive products, leading surface and tribology knowledge, and collaborating globally with colleagues, customers, and industry experts.
The role requires expertise in surface quality specification, innovation support, and securing advanced technologies. The Technology Office comprises specialists in material science, tribology, manufacturing processes, life prediction, NVH & diagnostics.

Additional Information
This position is based in Gothenburg, Sweden, on a local contract. Other SKF Automotive sites in EMEA, such as Airasca (Italy), Schweinfurt (Germany), or Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire (France), may also be considered.
You will report to the Technology Office Manager.
