A PR & Marketing Executive plays an important role in supporting the Line Manager to achieve key objectives aligned with the annual marketing and PR plan, current initiatives, and relevant activities. The marketing and PR team is vital in integrating all functional areas to meet commercial targets. The role involves managing individual projects related to marketing, media relations, internal communications, and performing daily administrative duties.
What will I be doing?
As a PR & Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for the outcomes of the marketing plan and activities used by the hotel to enhance brand awareness, communicate promotions to target markets, and address hotel business needs. Your specific tasks will include:
- Coordinating and assisting in delivering marketing and PR strategies, monitoring campaign performance, and reporting as directed by the Line Manager.
- Supporting the development and implementation of promotional activities, collateral, in-house merchandising, and maintaining the media library.
- Promoting hotel marketing activities to the media, covering all F&B, rooms, and event promotions.
- Supporting internal communication activities such as updates, press releases, newsletters, and speeches for executives.
- Supporting marketing and PR activities including events, sponsorships, campaigns, exhibitions, and property inspections.
- Managing media relations, tracking social media, updating press kits, archiving news, maintaining media databases, coordinating interviews, and administrative duties for media visits.
- Organizing media familiarization trips and entertaining local media as appropriate.
- Assisting with on-site photoshoots and hotel filming, ensuring all administrative approvals are obtained.
- Monitoring and supporting social media activities, ensuring alignment with departmental initiatives.
- Upholding brand standards across all collateral, maintaining the right tone and voice as per corporate guidelines.
- Identifying opportunities to grow loyalty marketing activities with HHonors and other schemes.
- Implementing marketing and PR content, managing creative resources, translations, photography, and online presence in line with regional strategy.
- Responding to customer posts, addressing complaints and issues.
Managing Execution
- Supporting content management across channels including websites, OTAs, social media, and partnerships.
- Developing monthly/quarterly reports on activities and results.
- Maintaining and growing hotel databases for targeted campaigns.
- Staying informed about local news affecting the hotel and informing management promptly.
- Responding to information requests about the hotel.
- Assisting in developing reports on marketing and PR initiatives.
- Reviewing third-party website content for standards and accuracy.
- Reporting on competitive analysis and maximizing PR efforts.
- Ensuring proper marketing and PR archives and content are maintained.
- Supporting management in projects with budget considerations.
- Handling communications during hotel crises and issues.
- Achieving performance goals set by the Line Manager and completing assigned tasks responsibly.
Developing Talent
