The role involves delivering helmet artworks, collaborating with engineers, and ensuring adherence to design guidelines. Ideal candidates have a design background and experience in automotive or product design, especially in helmets.

We are looking for a PRODUCT DESIGNER to join the Helmet R&D Department.

Role Responsibilities and Activities

• Under the supervision of the Chief Designer, who defines product mood and construction guidelines and provides the design concept, the Designer delivers complete helmet artworks.
• Following Project Leader's input on technical features and safety constraints, and with advice from the Chief Designer, the Designer reviews and implements necessary modifications until final approval.
• The Designer supports the CAD 3D engineer in constructing 3D files. When needed, and in agreement with the Project Leader, makes necessary changes to artwork and obtains approval from the Chief Designer.
• The Designer attends mock-up/prototype presentations, gathers stakeholder feedback, and defines helmet details until the design is approved (design freeze).
• After the design freeze, the Designer supports the CAD engineer during engineering and industrialization, ensuring adherence to the style and brand identity.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Educational background in design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite and rendering creation.
• 3+ years of experience in automotive or product design, preferably in motorcycling/cycling helmets.
• Ability to work with 3D CAD software (Alias, Blender, Catia) is a plus.
• Fluency in English.
