The Maintenance Field Service Technician operates on-site to perform preventive maintenance, repair equipment, and install replacement parts related to NCS vehicle wash equipment and accessories. The Field Service Technician will also train customers on basic equipment maintenance.

What You’ll Do…

• Perform service work on vehicle wash equipment and accessories including troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and mechanical problems to determine the needed corrective action
• Replace, repair, or adjust parts and systems as necessary
• Inspect, calibrate, and check all chemicals
• Run equipment through "cycles" to ensure proper functioning
• Advise customers on necessary service work and recommend replacements for worn or damaged parts and systems
• Inspect equipment to ensure proper function
• Provide training to customers on proper operation and maintenance of equipment
• Develop and maintain good rapport with customers, striving to provide Positively Outrageous Service and ensure satisfaction
• Deliver parts or supplies to customers
• Complete work orders, expense reports, and time logs
• Stay updated on equipment changes through training, manuals, service bulletins, and research
• Maintain inventory of parts on service vehicle and in warehouse; report inventory levels as required
• Follow all service policies and procedures
• Keep Service Manager informed of issues and progress
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Lift items up to 75 lbs.
• Bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, perform repetitive motions, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods
• Read blueprints and work orders with adequate sight

What You Need…

• High school diploma
• Associates Degree plus 1 year industry experience or equivalent
• At least 3 years’ experience as a technician, with skills in industrial mechanicals, pneumatics, PLCs, and electrical systems including 3-phase power
• Clean driving record with specific violation and accident limits
• Ability to travel daily, including overnights if needed
• Ability to work rotating on-call weekends
• Basic math and writing skills
• Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, manuals
• Work independently or in a team
• Forklift certification preferred but trainable
• Customer-focused, adaptable, able to multitask and prioritize
• Intermediate computer skills and email communication
• Excellent organizational skills
