How you'll live your ambition:

We're looking for a talented professional as Cloud Engineer and Kubernetes Administrator to join our team and work on various projects at our headquarters in Genoa, Italy.

Your support will be critical in the Global Maritime Information Systems' mission to develop and ensure the smooth operation of technological capabilities in all marine areas for Carnival Corporation's brands, collaborating with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.

• You will help set up, configure, monitor, and maintain Kubernetes clusters in Azure and on-premises.
• You will modify and improve existing systems.
• You will have the opportunity to train teams on the implementation of new Cloud technologies and initiatives.
• You will contribute to identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
• You will develop and maintain effective communication channels/tools with the Carnival Corporation community and foster working relationships.

Interact with different corporate teams, seek automation, troubleshoot, and mentor team members.

Develop and maintain Cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.

What makes you unique:

• You have a relevant undergraduate degree and several years of experience in Cloud computing or related IT fields.
• You have previous experience with Kubernetes cluster networking.
• You hold relevant training and/or certifications as a Cloud Engineer and/or Kubernetes Administrator.
• You have experience with on-premises edge Kubernetes solutions such as SUSE K3S deployed as a cluster or single-node solution, and hold Azure, AWS, and GCP certifications (preferred).
• You can design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes applications on small-footprint devices and across different environments.
• You have proven success with Infrastructure as Code techniques.
• You possess excellent analytical, conceptual, and troubleshooting skills.
• You are a global citizen, fluent in English, and embrace diversity.
• You excel in teamwork and inspire others to give their best.
