Field Technical Support Specialist - Automation (f/m/d), Cassina de' Pecchi

This remote position involves providing excellent customer service by installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation in hospital and laboratory environments. You will support and collaborate with field teams and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and system performance.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Provide second-level support by troubleshooting Automation systems.
  • Assist field teams in maintaining, installing, and validating laboratory systems.
  • Use critical thinking to quickly repair instrumentation issues.
  • Manage technical knowledge flow among team members across Europe.
  • Collaborate with sales and application teams to improve customer solutions.
  • Verify operational performance and data quality of systems.
  • Develop project management skills through installation projects.
The essential requirements of the job include:
  • Associate degree in a technical field (biomedical, robotics, automation) or equivalent experience, with fluency in English and Italian.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts and travel within the country and Europe.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Problem solving and proactive solution identification.
  • IT knowledge, including networks, servers, firewalls, and interfaces.
  • Critical thinking supported by DBS tools.
