We are looking for a experienced Service Technician to act as Service Technician Team Leader to join our team in the Calabria Region. As a Service Technician Team Lead, you will work together with other service technicians executing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and troubleshooting inside the wind turbines as well as having on site supervisory responsibilities for the team.
How to contribute to our vision
The candidate will perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance in wind-turbine generators. The work will include 80% service technician responsibilities plus on-site supervision and 20% clerical tasks. You should have a desire to learn about electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics as you will be responsible of the general maintenance of the turbines.
Your main tasks consist of implementing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance actions on the electrical and electronic parts of the turbine, analyzes and diagnoses faults in the electronic and electrical systems, using specific schemes and automated control systems as support (video screens from which check the performance of the machinery); identify the fault, carry out the repair and replacement of parts, modules or tools. You will be responsible for supervising, administrating and motivating members of the team. You will ensure company HSE and quality standards. As team leader, you will be the point of contact between all team members and the organization. You must also act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and lead by example and engage the team to achieve the objectives of the organization.

It is crucial that you will be fully compliant with SGRE safety codes and have a history of being able to follow set procedures.
As a person you are compliant, flexible, and eager to work in a job that will offer you freedom and great opportunity to learn and become an independent problem-solver. You will be multitasking and planning service activities, while coordinating these activities within your team. We are looking for someone who is accurate and has a high safety awareness.
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for someone with minimum 4-5 years of experience in the electricity- or mechanical industry as a trouble shooter. Experience in wind industry is considered an advantage.
The role requires you to being able to work in high altitudes. Driving license is a requirement and you should be flexible and prepared to travel as our wind farms are spread over a large geographical area. It is important that you have basic English skills, both written and verbal, as some of the documentation and other tasks are completed in English. Position not eligible for smart working and not eligible for flexible schedule. It requires on call duty.
