Job Description:

Activities:

  • Creation of requirement analyzes and definition of software requirements for automatic passenger car transmissions;
  • Planning and preparation of software release deliveries;
  • Participation in the creation of functional concepts and cooperation in the design of software functions (interfaces, diagnostics, testers);
  • Commissioning and calibration of sub-systems and functions in the entire vehicle and in the laboratory;
  • Planning and implementation of manual and automated test cases on the system- and overall vehicle level as well as corresponding test documentation;
  • Participation in test drives;
  • Documentation of configuration, updating of prototypes and test vehicles (hardware, software);
  • Problem management (troubleshooting, updating error databases);

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electronics / physical engineering / automotive engineering or comparable professional education;
  • Good knowledge of transmission and automotive engineering;
  • Knowledge of MS Office, INCA, MDA, CanApe, Vector tools, IBM DOORS, Jira;
  • Knowledge of communication protocols in automotive sector (UDS, OBD, CAN);
  • Knowledge of English language;
  • Knowledge of German language is a plus;
  • High communication skills, flexibility and willingness to travel;
  • Valid driving license for passenger cars / commercial cars;
  • Knowledge of ASPICE;
