Descrizione del lavoro

Our client, a rapidly expanding player in the B2C tech landscape, is hiring a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to join its senior leadership team. This role presents a unique opportunity to architect and elevate the company’s marketing strategy during a pivotal phase of scale and innovation.

As the CMO, you will be accountable for creating and driving a marketing blueprint that accelerates user acquisition, deepens brand engagement, and propels sustained revenue growth. You’ll oversee a talented marketing team and collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders to deliver a unified, product-driven customer journey to millions of users.

The ideal candidate is a visionary marketing executive who has successfully scaled marketing functions at companies reaching at least $500M in annual revenue—ideally with exposure at the $1B+ level—particularly within fast-moving, digital-first consumer sectors.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Craft and execute a holistic marketing strategy that aligns with the broader business vision and growth targets.
  • Lead high-efficiency acquisition programs across multiple channels, consistently improving key metrics like CAC, ROAS, and LTV.
  • Develop a distinct, product-aligned brand identity that drives emotional connection and long-term loyalty.
  • Oversee key marketing disciplines including performance, brand, lifecycle, product marketing, and communications.
  • Drive a test-and-learn culture, using experimentation and insights to iterate quickly and improve campaign outcomes.
  • Partner with teams across product, data, finance, and engineering to ensure cohesive, market-aligned initiatives.
  • Serve as a core member of the executive team, providing strategic insight and reporting directly to the CEO.

Qualifications :

  • Tenure & Track Record : 15+ years in senior marketing leadership roles with proven success in long-term tenures (2–3+ years each).
  • Company Scale : Experience leading marketing at organizations with $500M+ in revenue (strong preference for $1B+); early-stage-only or enterprise-only backgrounds will not be considered.
  • Industry Expertise : Solid experience in B2C or D2C technology, with a history of leading within product-led growth environments.
  • Product Marketing Mastery : Skilled in go-to-market planning, brand voice, customer lifecycle strategy, and product positioning.
  • Acquisition & Performance Marketing : Deep understanding of performance channels, user funnel optimization, and growth strategy execution.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment : Ability to influence and collaborate across teams, particularly with product and tech leaders.
  • Exit Preparation : Experience contributing to pre-IPO growth or major liquidity events is a strong advantage.
  • Location Requirement : Candidates must reside in the SF Bay Area and be available to work from the Mountain View office at least twice per week.

Why Apply :

  • Play a central role in shaping the growth trajectory and public presence of a mission-driven consumer brand.
  • Join a fast-scaling company at a moment of strategic inflection and growth acceleration.
  • Work alongside an experienced, data-first executive team in a culture of transparency and collaboration.
  • Attractive compensation package, including meaningful equity participation.
