The European Gravitational Observatory (EGO) seeks a Plant Maintenance Technician to join its Infrastructures Department.
Activities:
Travel across the Virgo site is required.
Work outside normal hours and participate in on-call rotations may be necessary.
Proficiency with electrical and environmental measuring instruments is advantageous.
EGO is a French-Italian consortium operating the Virgo gravitational-wave detector near Pisa, Italy. It involves over 130 institutions and more than 800 scientists, engineers, and technicians from Europe.
