Roles & Responsibilities

The European Gravitational Observatory (EGO) seeks a Plant Maintenance Technician to join its Infrastructures Department.

Activities:

• Assist in the routine and extraordinary maintenance of electrical and thermo-mechanical systems at EGO site.
• Ability to interpret electrical or thermo-mechanical schematics.
• Manual skills for electrical and air conditioning systems maintenance.

Travel across the Virgo site is required.

Work outside normal hours and participate in on-call rotations may be necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• High school diploma in a technical field
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Knowledge of English
• No criminal convictions

Additional Skills (Assets)

• At least two years of experience with electrical and thermo-hydraulic systems
• Knowledge of Italian and French languages
• Ability to understand technical manuals and reports
• Teamwork and autonomous work skills following guidelines
• Experience with medium voltage access

Proficiency with electrical and environmental measuring instruments is advantageous.
