Job Description:

Position Overview: We are looking for a highly driven and experienced Business Development Manager to lead and accelerate our growth in the working van and mobile professional vehicle segment across the European market. This role is ideal for a candidate with deep knowledge of off-grid solar and energy storage systems, and proven success in B2B business development within sectors such as vehicle conversion, mobile workspaces, or professional fleet solutions. You will be responsible for building strategic partnerships, driving local market strategies, and promoting our mobile power solutions across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of business opportunities within the working van/mobile workstation segment across Europe.
  • Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with B2B clients including vehicle converters, fleet operators, OEM partners, and system integrators.
  • Promote and sell a full suite of off-grid solar and energy storage solutions, including solar panels, batteries, inverters, MPPT charge controllers, and integrated power systems.
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies tailored to regional customer needs and market characteristics.
  • Conduct in-depth market research on customer demands, competitive landscape, pricing models, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Manage the complete business development process—from lead generation and solution development to negotiation and closing.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and marketing teams to optimize product-market fit and customer experience.
  • Represent the company at major trade shows, customer events, and strategic meetings throughout Europe.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and regularly report key business metrics and market insights to senior leadership.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B business development or technical sales in one or more of the following industries:
  • Vehicle conversion or mobile workstation solutions
  • Off-grid solar or distributed energy systems
  • Automotive aftermarket or professional fleet products
  • Solid understanding of off-grid solar technology, including PV modules, lithium batteries , inverters, and hybrid power setups
  • Proven ability to develop new markets and grow revenue independently
  • Existing network in the vehicle conversion or mobile power sector is a strong plus
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in German, French, Italianor Dutch is highly preferred
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel 30–50% across the European region

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or a related field
  • Experience working in multinational companies or high-growth startups
  • Passion for clean energy, sustainable mobility, and innovative mobile applications
