Descrizione del lavoro

The repair engineer will take care of the following tasks:

• Carries out the analysis of the repairs that arrive in Technoprobe and the preparation of the repair reports for customers;
• Oversees the definition of the flow in order to repair a card after the green light from the customer;
• Drives and coaches the manufacturing departments on the execution of the repair flow; additionally, he/she will perform directly the most complicated tasks;
• Reports and discusses with the Repair Manager in case of warranty requests for repairs from customers;
• Reports and discusses with FAE in case of special needs, as well as reports the DOA (Death on Arrival) case.

Requirements

• Good English reading, writing, and listening skills in order to understand the internal WI, customer claims, and to prepare repair reports;
• Good English speaking skills are a plus;
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box;
• BS degree or equivalent experience in Electronics (preferred) or Mechanics;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows;
• Good ability to handle small mechanical parts under a microscope;
• Testing competencies, such as the use of an e-meter or oscilloscope, are considered a plus;
• Knowledge of electrical diagrams and electronic skills are a plus.
