A leading company in the personal care sector seeks a Technical Sales Manager to drive new business opportunities and provide unparalleled technical support. This pivotal role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance customer satisfaction and product innovation while managing multiple projects and fostering strong customer relationships.
The Technical Sales Manager will work closely with Sales Managers in the regions, Global Key Account Managers, Marketing, and R&D functions to better penetrate key customers, build on Elementis’ brand image, and drive new sales opportunities and long-term success. This role is pivotal in ensuring our customers receive unparalleled technical support, driving product excellence and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Technical expertise: Deep knowledge of product formulation in the personal care sector, understanding of industry-specific regulatory requirements and standards.
Leadership: Ability to influence cross-functional teams, strategic thinking, mentorship skills to develop team members.
Collaboration and teamwork: Effectively work with R&D, marketing, and sales teams; foster a collaborative approach to problem-solving and project execution.
Customer focus: Provide technical support, resolve customer issues, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Project management: Manage multiple projects from concept to completion with strong organizational skills.
Innovation and continuous improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Business acumen: Understand the commercial aspects of product development and align technical efforts with business goals.
