Main Activities and Technical Skills Required

You will be responsible for developing, planning, reporting, and executing initiatives in line with the company’s CSR development efforts. You will also work closely with various departments to drive and manage activities that will contribute towards building a caring and inclusive culture within the company.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Developing and reporting CSR activities, conducting periodic program reviews to assess outcomes and effectiveness, including carbon footprint calculation (Scope 1-3) via the GHG Protocol.
  • Acting as the focal point for the company's CSR initiatives in the geography and building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Staying abreast of relevant research, regulatory updates, and trends in the areas of focus, and promoting best practices.
  • Collaborating with marketing and HR teams to drive internal engagement and promote storytelling.
  • Driving annual reporting for shareholders and submitting reports to Ecovadis & UNGC annually.
  • Authoring PLG’s Annual Sustainability Report.
  • Providing feedback to clients on roadmaps and action plans, including creating informative materials.
  • Reviewing potential suppliers for CSR risks during procurement due diligence.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of rules, regulations, and best practices for CSR, including sustainability frameworks (SBTi, UNGC, EcoVadis, GRI, etc.) and reporting requirements (e.g., EUCSRD).

They should have expertise in managing relationships, networks, and teams, with proven success in driving complex multi-stakeholder planning processes and cross-team projects.

Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written) are essential, with the ability to distill complex information into simple messages and concise materials tailored for various audiences.

Proficiency in data analysis via Excel and a good understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite are required. Prior experience with carbon accounting is an advantage.
