We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to oversee the Middle East & North African market. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain strong relationships with our network of independent dealers, enabling them to successfully sell Baoli forklift trucks. This role focuses on supporting and empowering dealers to maximize their sales potential, not direct sales to end customers.

The diverse cultural, economic, and linguistic landscape of the Middle East & North Africa requires a nuanced understanding and capability to navigate these differences effectively.

Please note: Full proficiency in English and French is essential. Arabic skills are a plus for effective communication, as our network partners are across the region.

Your responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with the dealer network.
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new dealers to expand market coverage.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with dealers to set and achieve sales targets.
  • Lead and manage sales efforts in the region, motivating dealers to meet objectives.
  • Provide training on Baoli’s products and specifications.
  • Work with marketing to develop promotional materials and sales tools.
  • Understand the cultural, economic, and business etiquette of the region.
  • Adapt communication strategies to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • Experience in sales management, preferably in material handling equipment.
  • Degree in a technical or commercial field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to manage and expand sales networks.
  • Understanding of the Middle East & North African market.
  • Knowledge of international payment methods and credit collection.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across cultures and languages.
  • Proficiency in English and French; Arabic skills are a plus.
  • Ability to develop and maintain dealer relationships.
  • Strategic thinking and market analysis skills.
  • Experience and relationships in the material handling industry are highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
