Job Title: Cost and Resource Specialist

On behalf of our client, a global pharmaceutical company, IQVIA is seeking a Cost and Resource Specialist to join an exciting and dynamic working environment.

Responsibilities:

The following responsibilities may apply partially or wholly, depending on the functional CRSs organization, and are performed under the coordination of a CRC:

1. Functional Cost, Investment, and Workload Planning:

• Collect information related to functional costs and resources for planning, liaising with relevant stakeholders and PMs, and organizing internal budgeting meetings for timely and accurate data collection.
• Gather and submit justifications for cost plan deviations to R&D P&C based on previous baselines.

Functional Actual Cost and Investment Recognition and Justification:

• Prepare and verify Purchase Requisitions (PRs) within the corporate ERP, ensuring correctness and timely submission according to procedures.
• Prepare documentation to support Management Approval of PRs.
• Perform year-end closing activities, ensuring compliance with statutory and tax guidelines.
• Track deviations between actual and baseline spending, providing justifications to the P&C team and communicating significant information effectively.

Functional Resource Breakdown Structure (RBS) Update and Timecard Filling:

• Notify the DBK team of any RBS changes for reflection in the project management system.
• Facilitate timely timecard submissions by functional employees and external consultants.

Requirements and Skills:

• Basic accounting competencies.
• Basic understanding of the drug development process in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Proficient in office procedures and relevant corporate systems such as Planisware and SAP.
• Support end-users of the ERP system (SAP) in coordination with CRC.

Contract Details:

This is a maternity replacement position under a chemical contract.
