This position offers an opportunity to join Varian and the Varian Service team in fighting cancer. The job holder should be located in Umbria, Italy, preferably in the Terni area.
The Field Service Engineer (FSE) is the main contact for customer service and repair needs, ensuring equipment operates efficiently.
The Hardware FSE is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, upgrading, and maintaining VMS equipment according to guidelines.
Each FSE works within a designated territory, representing VMS, and must communicate professionally with team members, customers, management, sales, and technical support.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing equipment, and managing schedules for maintenance, installations, and upgrades, prioritizing customer requests.
Recognize when to escalate incidents and resolve complex issues, meeting FSE performance levels.
Manage territory effectively, complete and submit reports and documentation promptly, and maintain customer relationships through strong communication skills.
Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:
The candidate should reside in the Terni, Umbria area. This is a remote position; offices are in Milan, but the candidate will follow clients in Terni.
Minimum: technical training (secondary school ITIS IPSIA) or 2-5 years of electronic experience.
