The Backend developer will be responsible for the design and implementation of the OAMP platform of JMA. The development will focus on backend services to manage 4G/5G BaseBandUnit applications.

The person in this position will support and collaborate with other team members daily to develop new features and fix bugs. Additionally, she/he will design and implement new components and software packages.

The software developer will interface with the Technical leader of the project to develop software packages and with QA team members to support testing.

JMA's OAMP software platform is developed with standardized communication interfaces (3GPP, O-RAN, CBRS Alliance) in a Kubernetes-based environment.

Responsibilities:

• Backend development in GO and C++
• Implementation of 3GPP, O-RAN, and CBRS Alliance interfaces
• Development of JMA-specific APIs for integration with other JMA OAMP modules
• Coordinate with QA for validation and release cycles

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in backend development using GO (and C++ knowledge)
• Experience with git and agile workflows
• Proficiency in Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes environments
• Networking knowledge
• Attention to detail, teamwork, and proactive attitude
• (Plus) CI/CD experience (e.g., Jenkins)
• (Plus) Experience in developing microservice applications
