Competenze

Position Summary

Dana is a global leader in the supply of highly engineered driveline sealing and thermal management technologies that improve the efficiency and performance of vehicles with both conventional and alternative energy powertrains. Serving three primary markets—passenger vehicles, commercial trucks, and off-highway equipment—Dana provides original equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.

Main Opportunities and Challenges

• Acquisition of extensive knowledge about high-performance transmissions and related tests.
• Working in a heterogeneous environment that includes hydraulic, NVH, electric, and electronic aspects.
• Collaborations with experienced technicians during prototype assembly.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct tests as defined in the DVP (Design Validation Plan) and perform planned inspections, mainly functionality and durability tests for product performance evaluation.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are respected by personnel involved in tests.
• Evaluate the feasibility and costs of tests defined in the DVP or other specific requests.
• Plan tests to ensure compliance with deadlines.
• Draw up test reports after teardown and relevant component analysis.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to find technical solutions.

Job Requirements

Education: Mechatronics, Mechanics, Electronics, Aerospace

Professional Background: Preferred but not essential, experience in a similar role.

Hard Skills

• Essential: Microsoft Office suite, good level of English, general knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and mechatronics.
• Considered a plus: CANape, LabVIEW, inverter, and electric motors knowledge.

Soft Skills

• Leadership skills, effective communication, teamwork, agile approach and methodology, dependability, adaptability, conflict resolution, flexibility, problem-solving, self-development.
