Objectives of the role:1. Ensure excellent customer service, taking care of every detail of the dining experience, from courtesy to operational efficiency.2. Coordinate and motivate the dining room team, promoting a positive, professional and collaborative working environment.3. Optimise the organisation of the service, ensuring short waiting times, synchronisation with the kitchen and compliance with quality standards.4. Managing customer relations, welcoming customers impeccably, resolving any complaints promptly and promoting loyalty.5. Contributing to the achievement of the restaurant's economic objectives, improving operational efficiency, monitoring room costs and boosting sales (e.g. upselling wines or special dishes).6. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, keeping the premises tidy and monitoring the application of HACCP procedures.7. Facilitating ongoing staff training, through coaching, briefings and updates on service techniques and menu offerings.Responsibilities of the role:(a) Organise and supervise room service, ensuring that quality standards are met.b) Managing and coordinating the wait staff (waiters, commis, sommeliers, etc.).c) Greeting customers and handling reservations and complaints in a professional manner.d) Collaborating with the chef and the kitchen for smooth and coordinated service.e) Managing the set-up of the room and compliance with health and hygiene regulations.f) Ensuring the continuous training of the dining room staff.g) Controlling service costs (staff hours, material consumption, etc.).Key skills and competences:- In-depth knowledge of food & beverage- Work organisation skills- Reservation management- Leadership and team management- Excellence in customer service and guest experience management- Operational coordination of room service- Problem solving and complaint management- Effective communication and interpersonal relations- Ability to work under pressure and in dynamic environments- Language skills (Italian mother tongue, English with advanced and professional level, other languages welcome)Minimum requirements:- Hotel diploma or equivalent.- At least 3-5 years' experience in a similar role in medium/high level restaurants.Place of work:Locorotondo, BariWe offer:o Regular work contract with classification commensurate with experienceo Competitive salaryo Professional, dynamic and excellence-oriented working environment.o Possibility of professional growth, with continuous training and development.
