About the Position

L’Import and Export Specialist manages shipments to and from the International Distribution Center located in Roncello (MB). The Import and Export Specialist creates all documentation related to shipping and manages transport carriers, customs brokers, and all agents involved in the supply chain.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Collaborating with transport carriers, suppliers, Werfen affiliates, and the entire Supply Chain Department to organize shipments.
  2. Preparing the required export/import documentation for outgoing/incoming shipments and planning pickups/deliveries across all transportation modes.
  3. Ensuring compliance with applicable customs, import, export, and trade laws, as well as Italian transportation regulations.
  4. Resolving issues related to deliveries, customs, or transportation.
  5. Requesting entry/exit customs declarations.
  6. Keeping SAP and all shipment-related documentation up to date.
  7. Communicating with suppliers, freight forwarders, customers, and internal departments to convey relevant information.
  8. Contributing to the management of any priority projects within the Supply Chain Department.
    Candidate Qualifications

    The ideal candidate for this position possesses the following knowledge and experience:

    1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
    2. At least 2 years of experience in customs departments or in the international transportation sector.
    3. Good knowledge of customs regulations.
    4. Excellent operational knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
    5. Fluent in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
