Job Description

Are you a motivated and detail-oriented professional ready to make an impact in a dynamic and innovative environment?

We are looking to add a dynamic Accountant to our Finance Team in Turino. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and interact with senior members in finance, while experiencing the incredible Danfoss culture.

The accountant will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our cost accounting processes within the SAP system and will also support the organization in Italy with other key administrative tasks.

Job Responsibilities

1. Execute reliable cost accounting by reviewing invoices processed by an external share service center.
2. Prepare Journal Entries with correct cost center splits of customs import invoices within short due dates.
3. Prepare co-advertising journal entries along with supporting documentation.
4. Support the Finance team in an SAP ERP system fast-close environment (D+3 for monthly reporting).
5. Support the Finance team with legal tax requirements (VAT licenses, Intrastat, Conai, VAT, reconciliation taxes and accounting, etc.).
6. Manage Import/Export and customs duties invoices (Bolle Doganali).

Other Financial Administrative Responsibilities

1. Perform cross-check controls of customers' export plafond (Dichiarazione d’intento).
2. Monitor and execute manual payments as needed.
3. Support the Finance Manager in ad hoc activities using SAP ERP system.

Background & Skills

1. You have a degree in Accounting or Finance with a solid understanding of general accounting practices and strong communication skills.
2. Several years of professional experience in corporate full general ledger accounting or management accounting, with experience in financial report preparation.
3. Practical knowledge of SAP or other integrated software and advanced Excel skills.
4. Ability to complete tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
5. Punctuality, ability to meet deadlines, and excellent time management skills.
6. Strong analytical and solution-oriented skills.
7. Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints.
8. Sense of accuracy, flexible approach, self-motivation, good organization, independence.
9. Ability to adapt to a changing environment and priorities.
10. Proactivity, willingness to learn and develop on the job, focus on continuous improvement.
11. Advanced Italian and English language skills; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
