Smith-Petersen is looking for an Event Manager to join the PR team based in Milan.

This is a full-time on-site role. The candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in event management and production of luxury Fashion, Design & Lifestyle events and shows.

Excellent verbal and written knowledge of both English and Italian is required.

Main activities:

Development and execution of events and presentations.

Management and presence during all events, including:

Pre-event: Location scouting, coordinating decor and catering services, liaising with vendors, arranging logistics, securing necessary permits, and ensuring alignment with the client’s brand standards.

On-site: Overseeing event setup, managing timelines, coordinating with event staff and partners, handling client and guest relations, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Post-event: Creating detailed event recaps, handling media follow-ups, updating client reports, managing photo and video assets for distribution, and coordinating post-event communications.

Budget management

Relations with Italian and international suppliers

Reports

Qualifications:

From 3 years of experience in production and events management in the luxury industry.

Excellent communication, project management, and organisational skills.

Flexibility and dynamism.

Fluency in English and Italian, both written and verbal.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, iOS system and Canva.

Living locally in the Milan or Lombardy area.
