Webuild Group is currently hiring a Senior Buyer for its Commodity Materials and Permanent Systems division at the Headquarters in Milan.

Responsibilities:

1. Support the Global Commodity Manager and coordinate with unit buyers to define procurement strategies for materials and permanent systems.
2. Oversee the sourcing process, including supplier list management, preparing requests for proposals, and negotiating commercial and contractual terms to optimize cost, quality, and lead time.
3. Contribute to company and procurement team objectives.
4. Ensure compliance with global supply chain policies and company procedures.
5. Analyze and compare supplier offers, coordinate technical checks with corporate and operational departments, and prepare summary reports with recommendations.
6. Draft terms and conditions for agreements and purchase orders in collaboration with the Legal and Contract Departments, and coordinate with requesting departments.
7. Support supplier relations in accordance with the company's ethics, organizational policies, and anti-corruption measures.
8. Assist regional supply chain and procurement managers in developing procurement plans to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
9. Support bidding and startup teams during procurement phases.
10. Participate in report analysis and implement corrective measures to address procurement issues.
11. Help define and implement commodity strategies.

Requirements:

1. 5-10 years of experience in a similar role within multinational environments.
2. Degree in Engineering, Economics, or Business Management.
3. Skills in market analysis and benchmarking.
4. Experience in supplier base management and development.
5. Ability to conduct cost driver and value analyses.
6. Proficiency in MS Office and SAP MM.
7. Willingness to travel and work at sites or joint ventures.
8. Fluent in English.
