Position Overview

We are seeking an Area Sales Manager for our Italian branch in Carpi (Modena). The role involves independently managing all commercial, organizational, and administrative activities related to sales, including customer acquisition for Hyva’s product range. This position is integral to our commercial team, focusing on channel development and growth across North Italy, with the goal of increasing market share through key partners.

Main Responsibilities
  • Define and implement sales strategies for your area, managing the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to closing deals.
  • Secure and expand revenue within a select group of key distributors.
  • Manage channels effectively to increase Hyva’s market share within coding and marking in these distributors.
  • Lead tracking and reporting of business KPIs across the territory.
  • Generate leads and drive proactive sales through promotional and networking events.
  • Travel approximately 50% to 75% of the time.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role within the international aftermarket supplier, automotive, industrial, or agriculture distribution sectors, as an account manager or in product management.
  • Technical background is advantageous. Strong understanding of the regional and national automotive aftermarket, including products, trends, and customer needs.
  • Analytical mindset with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and sales skills (minimum 3 years).
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
