PLANT QUALITY & FOOD SAFETY SPECIALIST, Tizzano Val Parma

Location: Tizzano Val Parma, Italy

Gruppo Lactalis Italia is seeking a Plant Quality & Food Safety Specialist to join the BU Castelli DOP & Specialità within the Industrial Division of the Tizzano Val Parma Dairy Plant (PR). Reporting to the Production Senior Coordinator, the key responsibilities include:

  1. Maintaining the quality assurance system for the dairy and related certifications;
  2. Managing tools (calibration and maintenance) and services (waste disposal, etc.);
  3. Conducting pre-operational, operational, and post-operational controls as per procedures;
  4. Recovering curd for analysis;
  5. Entering orders into SAP.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in Food Science and Technology, Agriculture, or related fields;
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in similar roles within food manufacturing facilities;
  • Knowledge of production processes, quality management systems, process analysis, procedures, and quality control techniques, including current regulations;
  • Proficiency in English (at least B1); knowledge of French is a plus;
  • Determination, proactivity, and autonomy in task management;
  • Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and goal-oriented work approach;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and teamworking attitude.
