We are looking to recruit a new member of staff at the Marghera Office (VE, Italy) location as soon as possible :
Marine & Technical Buyer
PURPOSE :
Support the Marine and Technical team within the Supply Chain Department with purchasing operations. Act as point of contact between the ships, suppliers and the procurement team. The Buyer provides direction and supervision and will act as the first point of contact with the ships and a liaison between the ships, suppliers and buyers. The incumbent must be able to multi-task, be able to work with timelines and emergencies. The Buyer shall maintain ethical and professional relations with suppliers, Norwegian Cruise Line employees and any other party that conducts business with Norwegian Cruise Line.
MAIN TASKS :
EDUCATION : Bachelor’s degree in Business or other related field of study; or any equivalent combination of experience and skills.
EXPERIENCE : 2 years experience preferred with working on yards / dry docks, with procurement operations, ERP (e.g. PeopleSoft), eProcurement, eCatalog, contract management, eRFX and eAuction strategies
