A leading company in air treatment is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join their Industrial Technologies Europe team. This role involves developing business opportunities and providing technical support for Light Commercial products. The position can be remote or based in Pordenone, Italy, and requires strong communication skills and a background in engineering or business.

Competenze

  • 5-10 years of experience in Sales and Marketing or R&D.
  • Familiarity with Light Commercial reciprocating compressor products.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation skills in English and at least one European language.

We are searching for a Technical Support Engineer to join our Industrial Technologies Europe team in a remote capacity, with the option to work from our Pordenone, Italy office if preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Stay current with product launches or transitions to maintain up-to-date sales engagement programs, including both product and service-related support.
  • Develop new business opportunities with major Light Commercial Refrigerator and Freezer Agents, OBMs, and OEMs, and establish customer rapport with products and services.
  • Collaborate with all facets of the customer’s organization, including engineering, purchasing/sourcing, operations, product management, and quality representatives.
  • Provide customer information through presentations covering new products, project schedules, quality performance, and technical training.
  • Document market and customer findings and communicate the information back to the organization.
  • Support marketing efforts to evaluate market segment trends, monitor government regulatory activities, and solicit customer feedback.
  • Support team members and peers to achieve KPIs.
  • Participate in all product and business promotional activities and regional and international trade shows.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Sales and Marketing or R&D department.
  • Familiarity with Light Commercial reciprocating compressor products.
  • Knowledge of compressor applications and regulations for Light Commercial markets.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and communication skills in English and at least one European language.
  • Highly motivated, self-sufficient, and capable of managing multiple projects.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally, including weekends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Experience working with major Light Commercial Agents, OBMs, and OEMs is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Chinese language is a plus but not required.
