BOILER PLANT EQUIPMENT MECHANIC-OPERATOR

This position is open for applications in Italian or English. Internal Local National employees seeking promotion or reassignment are encouraged to apply, with consideration also given to external candidates. The incumbent will operate and maintain high-pressure boiler systems, co-generation units, and related plant equipment, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with standards. Responsibilities include monitoring system operations, performing maintenance and repairs, troubleshooting electrical and pneumatic controls, managing micro-grid functions, and maintaining operational logs. The work involves continuous standing, walking, physical exertion, and shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum qualifications include the ability to perform the work independently, knowledge of boiler operation and maintenance, understanding of controls and instrumentation, technical interpretation skills, safety awareness, and a valid Italian driver's license. Additional certifications are required for certain grade levels, including the "CERTIFICATO DI ABILITAZIONE PER LA CONDUZIONE DEI GENERATORI A VAPORE (Secondo Grado)" and the military driver's license equivalent.
