Job Description:

Objectives:

  • Negotiate with existing customers and prospect new clients in Italy, collaborating closely with the company’s management.
  • Act as a Key Account Manager for assigned international clients.
  • Deliver offers and quotes to current and potential customers.
  • Report to the Sales Director Europe.

Main Activities:

  • Define sales strategies for the company's products.
  • Gather information necessary for sales contracts.
  • Coordinate with the technical team to propose suitable solutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities, especially in replacing Polyamide compounds.
  • Negotiate sales terms with management approval.
  • Manage customer rates and records.
  • Issue material samples and testing requests.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Ensure proper application of contracts and sales volumes.
  • Manage customer and financial risks, delivery issues, and structural changes.
  • Serve as an interface between customers and internal teams including management, sales, R&D, QHSE, and finance.
  • Assist technical and sales teams with tests, complaints, or disputes.
  • Report on sales activities, customer status, and sample progress during meetings.

  • Proficient in sales and negotiation techniques.
  • Knowledge of company’s technical capabilities and product advantages.
  • Experience in the plastics industry, especially injection moulding, with successful account management.
  • Analytical mindset adaptable to market changes.
  • Strong decision-making skills to identify and mitigate issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication at all levels.
  • Effective time management and self-motivation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
